2010
Writing Courses at Earley Concourse, near Chichester

Creative writing course at Earnley. I am tutoring at two weekend courses at Earnley in 2010.

April 9th to 11th will be a weekend of novel writing
October 1st to 3rd will be a course of creative writing.
Earnley Concourse is a lovely place for the weekend. Combine that setting with a weekend of writing and what more could you wish for?

Writers Workshop – The Novel. April 9th – April 11th.

In this course we will look at characters, dialogue, setting, plot, synopsis, research, in fact any aspect of the writing of a novel in any genre. If you have always wanted to write a book but been daunted by the size of the task come along and find out how to break it into manageable portions. If you are halfway through and have reached a sagging point (it does sometimes happen) we can work through it. Explore the many different styles of novel writing - there is sure to be one which suits your book. There will be writing exercises for those who want them and all the latest information available from book publishers. Your tutor is the author of 18 books in a variety of genres.

Introduction to Creative Writing. October 1st – 3rd

In this course we will explore the various avenues of creative writing. Fiction and non-fiction, concentrating on writing short stories, articles, fillers and letter-to-editors. The course will include presentation, research and marketing skills and is suitable for anyone who wants to try different forms of our craft or to find out which branch of writing they most enjoy. There will be time for writing exercises and discussion. Your course tutor has published many stories and articles and has also been a tutor for many years. She is a member of the Society of Authors and of the Society of Women Writers and Journalists.

In the Pipeline

Non-fiction book about how blindness not only changes the person's life, but affects family and friends too.

I would welcome your stories for this book because I don't want it to turn into a minibiography.

My husband, Leon, lost his sight fourteen years ago and we both feel other people's experiences will make it a better book than only using our own. All stories will be acknowledged.
